The violin is branded internally with the maker’s crest in a number of places. Bertolazzi was a pupil of Euro Peluzzi in Milan.
This excellent violin is in fantastic condition and being well made and well set up, it is sounding fantastic. It is coated in a luxurious thick red varnish displaying a fine crackle, typical of many Italian violins of the period. The violin is accompanied by a Letter of Opinion from a respected British expert.
